As the longitudinal shear line generally to retain the function of slitting the raw materials after all rewinding, so compared to the horizontal shear line, the simplification of the longitudinal shear line is relatively much more single. General width below 800mm, thickness above 0.5mm below 2mm, plate strength σs <300MPa, weight below 5 tons, production speed of about 40m / min, before the simplification of the design. The simplification method is generally used to replace the auxiliary equipment such as hydraulic or pneumatic with human power. The straightening part selects the size and arrangement of the straightening wheel according to the material thickness, confirms the power of the straightening machine according to the speed, and determines the number of straightening wheels, the arrangement and the transmission mode according to the customer‘s requirements on flatness. As an export equipment, it is recommended that considering the general importance of safety abroad, it is recommended that the quotation of the press arm of the material frame and the correction of the frequency control speed should be given consideration as standard.

The feeding part of the simple cross-cutting line is selected according to the customer‘s requirements on the plate size and efficiency. According to the difference of power source, there are: AC frequency conversion sizing, DC motor sizing and servo motor sizing. For construction cross shears with not very good material quality and large sizing tolerance requirements, a circuit consisting of corrective power plus frequency converter and length measuring encoder can be used directly for sizing. For material thickness and strength, but the capacity requirement is not high, you can use the circuit of DC motor and length measuring encoder for sizing. For high speed, high capacity and high automation requirements, servo sizing is preferred.

Simple horizontal shear line shear part is divided into: equipment comes with the head shear, outsourcing finished mechanical (hydraulic) shear, pneumatic clutch high-speed shear (or hydraulic high-speed shear), etc.. For the output requirements of the simple horizontal shear line can be directly used to shear the plate head shear. For a wider width of the material, the thickness range of some of the more medium and low-grade horizontal shear line can be used to outsource the mechanical (hydraulic) shear. For higher shear requirements, a certain speed requirements are selected pneumatic clutch high-speed shear (or hydraulic high-speed shear).

Simple cross-cutting shear line product collection method is entirely dependent on the nature of such lines required by the customer. It can be divided into manual collection, simple lifting collection and automatic palletizing collection. For thin materials, short cut lengths and low output self-use type equipment can be collected and stacked manually. For mass production type with large variation of material width and length or the nature of the customer as a material supplier, automatic stacking is the first choice.

As with stamping lines, the best configuration is based on an understanding of the customer‘s final requirements.
